After leaving Nakavango, I spent a few relaxing days in Victoria Falls enjoying myself, before my girlfriend arrived and we headed to Botswana.
We had booked a 14-day small group Camping Safari through Botswana with Bushways. Much to our surprise we were the only guests on the tour for the first few days. This was indeed very nice, as we had a “private safari” 🙂 Our first stops were Nxai Pan and the Makgadikgadi Pans, where we had an amazing time with many good sightings.
We then met up with the rest of our group and spent 2 nights on an island in the Okavango Delta. Here we went walking, swimming and were taken out on Mokoros. Truly a wonderful place, that I will need to visit again soon!!
After that we visited Moremi, Savuti, Kwai and Chobe, which were all in their own way stunning. Indeed, we were very lucky throughout our trip, as we saw 2 leopards, 2 packs of wild dogs, 1 cheetah, 1000s of elephants and about 54 lions.
Before I show you some more pictures I took, I would like to thank our amazing guide Keone, our lovely cook Life (stunning food) and all the wonderful people we met on this trip!!
